Innocuous Thrill

For each release of Establishment Brewing's barrel-aged wild beers, there is an on-going, open call for artists to design black and white artwork for the bottle labels. I was honoured to design art for the beer brewed exclusively by the women and non-binary folks of Establishment to celebrate International Women's Day. A portion of the proceeds are donated to Pink Boots Canada, an organization that helps enby folks and women working in fermented/alcoholic beverages to advance their careers in the industry.

"Pairs well with breaking biases and watching people bloom as a result. The name comes from a lyric from Hayley Williams' track Watch Me While I Bloom, so we felt there was a really great tie-in with the beer being for International Women's Day.
This rousing bouquet of golden sour beers was blended by the women of The Establishment and dry-hopped with this year’s Pink Boots hop blend. Expect some fruity florals and barely-there tea-like bitterness, but it’s the unexpected rocket candy finale that really brings the house down."
